Nightsplitter is the main project of songwriter/producer Sam Ahmadi. Drawing on a multitude of influences and working with a diverse cast of collaborators, Ahmadi has established a truly distinct sound that cannot be easily categorized. Nightsplitter strikes a balance between acknowledgment of various musical traditions and willful experimentation, while remaining committed to authentic expression throughout. Audiences have come to expect a combination of nuanced compositions, intimate lyricism, and emotive performances.

The 2026 debut album “The Unburdening” is an expansive, singular, and introspective odyssey that rewards repeated listening, and displays a remarkable degree of vulnerability in songwriting.
